Our goal is to expand our expression of Christ Jesus' teachings as taught through Christian Science; our mission is to: Glorify God, Follow Christ, Nurture Community. This mission is based on our growing understanding of these biblically-based demands:

1. Matthew 28:19, 20: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
   
   (A need to share the "good news" with our community in a more public way.)

2. Matthew 25:34-45: "I was hungry, and you gave me food..."
   
   (A need to more fully reach the poor and needy — "the least of these who are members of my family" in our community.)

3. Ephesians 4:11-13: "The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ."
   
   (A need to help each other discover and develop our God-given gifts for ministry and grow stronger as Christian Scientists.)
